Après une découverte de l'histoire de la reliure d'origine chinoise, connue en Europe sous le nom de reliure japonaise, et de son évolution en Asie, nous fabriquerons un carnet inspiré de cette technique originale.

What is the Mending Café? (French, English, German)
It’s a Repair Café dedicated exclusively to textiles. Whether you have a button to sew back on, a hole in your pocket, or a wonky hem, this is the place to be! Equipment is provided, and I’ll be there to guide anyone who needs a hand.

After a brief overview of fine and contemporary bookbinding, you will be able to try your hand at a modern binding technique inspired by the work of Anne Goy.
